HK416(Heckler & Koch HK416)은 독일 헤클러&코흐가 설계하고, 제작하는 돌격소총이다. 설계는 AR-15급 무기(특히, 미군의 콜트 M4 카빈 계열)를 기반으로 하고 있지만, 아말라이트 AR-18에서 파생된 독점적인 단사형 가스 피스톤 방식을 사용한다. (헤클러&코흐의 이전 G36 소총 계열에서도 같은 시스템이 사용되었다). 프랑스군이 FAMAS를 대체하기 위해 채택하였으며, 노르웨이군의 표준 돌격 소총으로 채택되기도 했다. 2011년 SEAL팀 6가 오사마 빈 라덴을 사살하기 위해 사용한 무기였다.

The Heckler & Koch HK416 is a rifle designed and manufactured by the German company Heckler & Koch. Although its design is based on the AR-15 class of firearm, specifically the Colt M4 carbine family issued to the U.S. military, it uses a proprietary short-stroke gas piston system derived from the ArmaLite AR-18 (the same system was also used in Heckler & Koch's earlier G36 family of rifles). It is the standard assault rifle of the Norwegian Armed Forces, selected by the French Armed Forces to replace the FAMAS, and was the weapon used by SEAL Team Six to kill Osama Bin Laden in 2011.
